Event ultra cycling paling menantang dari Mainsepeda, East Java Journey (EJJ), akan kembali diselenggarakan pada 2-8 Februari 2026. Peserta masih bisa memilih dua kategori: 1.500 km race atau 600 km non-kompetitif. Bedanya, sekarang event ini terbuka untuk segala jenis sepeda. Tidak lagi terbatas pada road bike atau sepeda yang menggunakan drop bar.

Mau pakai MTB, mau pakai fixed gear, mau pakai sepeda lipat, silakan. Sepeda jenis lain pun boleh. Kecuali e-bike! Sepeda harus dikayuh menggunakan tenaga sendiri dan wajib dilengkapi dengan rem.

Sejak diselenggarakan kali pertama pada 2023, EJJ telah menjadi salah satu event ultra paling diminati. Bahkan dijadikan bahan latihan, sekaligus seleksi, untuk mengikuti event-event ultra lain.

Peserta akan menempuh rute mengelilingi Provinsi Jawa Timur. Mereka ditantang untuk menaklukkan tanjakan-tanjakan iconic sekaligus bumbu-bumbu seru seperti jalur non-aspal. Sejumlah check point disediakan, di mana peserta bisa memanfaatkannya untuk beristirahat, mengisi kebutuhan, sekaligus mendapatkan layanan mekanik dan fisio.

East Java Journey 2026 now for All Bikes! 

Mainsepeda's most challenging event, East Java Journey (EJJ), will return on 2-8 February 2026. Participants can choose between two categories: 1,500 km race or 600 km non-competitive. And now, this event is open to all types of bikes. No longer restricted to bikes with a drop bar.

Participants can use MTB, fixed gear, or folding bike if they want to. Any bike will do, except e-bikes. All bikes must also be equipped with functioning brakes.

Since the inaugural event in 2023, EJJ has become one of the most popular ultra cycling events. The best training event, and a proper selection test, for other long distance races.

Participants will cycle the routes around East Java province. Tackling iconic climbs and tasting roads less traveled. Mainsepeda will provide several check points, where participants can rest and refuel. Mechanics and physiotherapists will be provided as well.
